When was your first run with YRC? How did you hear about it?

My first run was in late March 2022, a friend brought me along even though I wasn't a "runner" but was seeking a new and fun community.

What does being a "local, lovable misfit runner" mean to you? 

I love being part of a community where I can come as I am and help others feel welcome while engaging in an activity often felt to be intimidating or out of reach for so many.

What are your non-running hobbies?

Biking, cooking, traveling, hiking, crafting, gardening...and a health amount of binging psychological thriller/true crime shows, podcasts and audiobooks!

What keeps you coming back to YRC?

The joy new runners experience finding their community of local, lovable misfit runners.
